This bracket bolts to the bottom of the 2-tooth steering column and the light switch body slips into it. When used with some reproduction light switch bodies, It may be necessary to enlarge the notch in this bracket. To fully engage the base of the light switch body

When bolting to the bottom of the steering column, the female notch for the light switch to engage with goes at the bottom.
